Venezia ↔ Lido ↔ Ca' Roman - Connections to reach Ca' Roman from Venice

Ca' Roman is located at the southern end of Lido of Pellestrina, to which it is united only thanks to the Murazzi. The island is famous for housing numerous species of migratory birds; here in fact the green Oasis of LIPU (Italian Bird Protection League) was born. The small beach is a wild pearl and has one of the best preserved sand dune systems in the Adriatic. Also at Ca' Roman there is an abandoned anti-aircraft bunker dating back to the Second World War.

To get to Ca' Roman there is a vaporetto change in Piazzale Santa Maria Elisabetta del Lido. From Piazzale Roma and from the Station by vaporetto to Lido di Venezia you arrive with 3 daytime vaporetto ACTV lines. Certainly the fastest solution is line 6 but line 1 allows a complete journey of all the stops along the Grand Canal. From Lido di Venezia you must then take line 11 which reaches Ca' Roman in 60 minutes (stop on request to the sailor).

Night rides up to 5.50 and evening rides from 9.30 pm to 11.25 pm stop at Ca 'Roman only on request (boat pass booking at the toll-free number 800845065).
Some rides are limited to Pellestrina Cemetery.
