Alilaguna - Venice public water transport service
Alilaguna is the public service that connects the Marco Polo Airport in Tessera with the main landing areas of Venice, the Port of Tronchetto and the islands of the lagoon.
In the city there are 3 fixed lines and 1 seasonal line. These are the Blue, Orange, Red, Green lines.
Alilaguna is the only public service that links Marco Polo Airport to the historic center of Venice by water.
But the lines also stop in other islands of the lagoon such as Murano, the Certosa, the Lido, the Giudecca and the Cruise Terminal on the Tronchetto Island. |

In Venice, the Green Line of the Alilaguna public transport service is a seasonal line that provides excursion service to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello with multilingual guides on board.
Ferrovia, Giudecca Stucky, Zattere, Saint Mark's Giardinetti and Lido departures are scheduled.

Tickets can be purchased in several stores located at the Airport and in different points in the city.
The ticket includes 1 heavy baggage and 1 hand baggage. Each extra baggage with € 3 surcharge.
Children up to 5 years travel free (a document is required) as long as in the company of an adult with a valid travel document.

History of Alilaguna
Alilaguna was founded in 1999, by the hand of entrepreneurs linked to tourism, becoming the first private company for public transport operating on the Red line from Marco Polo to Murano, the Lido of Venice and Piazza San Marco.
The following year the Zattere stop is added and the Blue Line is added, connecting the airport to Fondamente Nuove, Santa Giustina and San Marco.
Currently there are 4 lines, one of which is seasonal in the months of maximum tourist influx in Venice.
