Exhibition running from 14 May to 26 November 2023
An exhibition dedicated to Bohemian glass after the Second World War opens on the Island of San Giorgio. It will present the works of six great masters of contemporary glass sculpture: VáclavCigler, VladimírKopecký, Stanislav Libenský and JaroslavaBrychtová, René Roubíček and MilušeRoubíčková. The exhibition will close with twenty photographs by Josef Sudek from the Glass Labyrinths series.

The Giorgio Cini Foundation presents an anthology dedicated to the great composer and musicologist Roman Vlad; through the autograph manuscripts and documents of the Roman Vlad Fund, kept at the Giorgio Cini Foundation Institute for Music, the exhibition path reconstructs some aspects of the long and eclectic career of the Romanian artist who became an Italian citizen in 1951.

An exhibition with a site-specific work by the American artist Pae White, exhibited simultaneously with the 57th Venice Biennale and commissioned by Le Stanze del Vetro on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore. The work consists of large glass inserts, some transparent others colored, forming a huge glass wall.
