Theatre de la Avogaria - Corte Zappa, Dorsoduro 1617 - Venice
The Teatro all'Avogaria di Venezia was founded by Giovanni Poli in 1969, returning from Milan after the experience of the Teatro-Studio of Palazzo Durini, with the intent to continue on the same creative line previously drawn by Poli himself with the Teatro Universitario of Ca' Foscari.
The collaboration between Poli and the Teatro a l'Avogaria has also led Venetian theatrical work abroad, reaching thirty-six foreign countries with sixty-five tours in the last forty years.
Position: from S. Basilio go straight to Calle del Vento and cross Campo S.Basegio. When you reach the second bridge on the Fondamenta in front of the Church of San Sebastiano, turn right onto Calle de l'Avogaria. Proceed for about 100 meters and before the bridge turn left to the narrow street that leads to Corte Zappa. The secretariat is in Corte Avogaria.
