In Burano an exhibition opens at the Museo del Merletto in Piazza Galuppi in Burano with two concomitant initiatives, united under the name of "The thread of the heart", which turn the spotlight on this ancient tradition, bringing it back to the present day.

Hours: from 10.00 to 16.00 (the ticket office closes 30 minutes before). Closed on Mondays, December 25th, January 1st, May 1st. There are special evening openings..
Tickets: full price €6, reduced price €4.50 (for children aged 6 to 14; students aged 15 to 25; chaperones (max. 2) of groups of children or students; citizens over 65. Free for residents and born in the Municipality of Venice; children aged 0 to 5 years.

In Burano an exhibition at the Lace Museum traces the pictorial experience of the Venetian avant-garde that developed between the two wars in contrast to the dominant culture of the Biennials of the time; artists like Gino Rossi, Pio Semeghini, Umberto Moggioli, under the guidance of Nino Barbantini (first Director of Ca ’Pesaro), created a heterogeneous movement with the desire to renew the artistic language of the time.

Hours: until 31/03 from 10.30 to 16.30; from 1/04 from 10.30 to 17 (the ticket office closes 30 minutes before). Closed Monday, December 25th, January 1st, May 1st.
Tickets: full price € 5, reduced € 3.50 (for children aged 6 to 14, students aged 15 to 25, carers (max. 2) of groups of children or students, citizens over 65. Free for residents and born in the Municipality of Venice, children from 0 to 5 years.
