History of the Church of Santa Fosca of Venice
The ancient church of Santa Fosca was rebuilt after a serious fire and re-consecrated in 1733.
The front of the church is dominated by a square brick bell tower and the classic façade surmounted by a tympanum bearing the date 1741.
The interior is organized in a single nave and behind the main altar stands the altarpiece with The Trinity and the Virgin by Filippo Bianchi (17th century); while The episodes of the life of Santa Fosca painted by Francesco Migliori (1634-1734), rather than by the Bassanesque school, decorate the minor altars.

The Church of Santa Fosca is located along Strada Nova in Campo Santa Fosca and in the Sestiere di Canaregio; it can be reached in a few minutes on foot from the station area or from Rialto.
By vaporetto the nearest stop is San Marcuola.
