Train Station ⟷ Saint Mark's Square - Connections to reach Saint Mark's Square from Santa Lucia Train Station in Venice

Arriving by train in Venice you reach the Santa Lucia railway station located in the Canaregio district, a few steps from the Piazzale Roma bus terminal, with a nice exit on the left bank of the Grand Canal.

From here to get to the Saint Mark's Square area you have to take the Actv vaporetto. There are landing stages and ticket offices right outside the train station.

From the station, the fastest solution is line 5.1, followed by line 4.1; while line 1 is the slowest because it runs along the Grand Canal (makes all the stops). On the way back you change to line 5.2, line 4.2. There's also the line 2. At night there is only the line N.
